Just a quick little post today...I am wondering if a cute mini cake decorated with a large sugar garden rose will make up for missing a birthday? I'm hoping so...and sending all my best wishes along with it too!
Thanks for stopping by!

It's really beautiful! it would make my day. :-)
Are you using the cutters that have a little *point* at the top of the petal for the larger leaves?
:o)
Hi Lorrie,
No...they are just regular rose petal cutters with a rounded edge...but I curled some of them backwards on two sides so they come to a point a little bit. Thanks! Jacqueline
Thanks jacqueline, they look so real. Have you ever tried the cutters I'm talking about? What the heck would I do with the points? They sort of hook to one side. The rose I made with them didn't look nearly as nice as yours does. Want to come to Canada to teach?
fai delle torte bellissime, i fiori sono realistici... bravissima!!!!!
