I started with a frilly white peony, gardenias, freesia buds, sweet peas and hydrangea:
Then I added a little bit of green and yellow ribbon, and mixed well with the creamy white flowers...then gave it a chance to sit prettily on a grassy-green ceramic cake stand:

Ohh.. Jacqueline.. This gives the perfect feeling of spring.. I love your tender colours and the flowers.
You asked in my blogg where I learned to make flowers.. I am all self learned with books, dvd's and trying with failing :o) Have a dream to go to us one time,, maybe lucky if I can take a Ron Ben-Israel class (my dream of lifetime I think ;o)
Cakes goes back all the way to 1994 (with some poor results, but it was the start)

Thanks Jessica...I'm sorry I can't remember where I found this green one...it is very old, but I loved the color too. Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Homegoods, Ebay, Amazon, Rosanna Inc., My Sweet and Saucy, and Whitney Smith are some of my favorite places to look!
